Dr._Shahlaee_Photo

Dr. Amir Shahlaee, M.D.

Board Certified in Allergy-Immunology, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and General Pediatrics

Dr. Amir Shahlaee is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. He trained in Pediatrics at UAB followed by training in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Johns Hopkins-NIH Joint Program and Allergy-Immunology at the Medical College of Georgia. He is board certified in Allergy-Immunology, Pediatric Hematology-Oncology and General Pediatrics.

Dr. Shahlaee’s clinical interests involve the care of adult and pediatric patients with allergic and immunologic disorders including asthma. Additionally, Dr. Shahlaee has an extensive academic background and has previously served on the staff at the University of Florida School of Medicine and at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also has an interest in drug development and clinical trial design and works as a consultant with the pharmaceutical industry.

Christen Davis

Christen Davis, FNP-BC

Christen is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience treating adult and pediatric patients with allergies and asthma. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology before going to Catholic University of America for her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, where she was inducted into the National Nursing Honor Society.

She practiced at Johns Hopkins Hospital while getting her Master’s Degree in Nursing at George Mason/George Washington University. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Christen is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and Association of Asthma Educators.

In the clinic, she enjoys evaluating and treating patients with allergies and asthma. Shevparticularly enjoys teaching patients and families to be active participants in understanding andvmanaging their disease.
